So, this was "The Chelsea" gig. I have at last been able to hear it poking around for mp3z, and without a doubt the girls are good. I seriously would see this band, it's just like the kind of band you could go and check out at one of the pubs around the town here in Newcastle on a Saturday night around the late 80's and early 90's, except they are all excellent girls. I really am very impressed from my own point of view on music and production.

If the original material is to be on Melissa's much heralded solo album I will personally guarantee at least 1 sale, and at my present level of fiscal restraint, trust me thats the enormous thumbs up.

Here is the Reuters Variety review of the gig which I feel is probably accurate reporting but I think the reviewer was definitely speaking from a higher production values and industry elite viewpoint.
But it's all good, it's all good, definitely.
It's all good news really, to me.

No Photographs surfaced yet, I expect if the "number of professional photographers" reported to be there at the show some will have to show up soon. I expect we will have to live in hope as usual.
