| It was fun while it lasted... at least for those with ringside
seats.
Hole dropped off their co-headlining tour with Marilyn Manson early this week
(see "Hole Walks Out On Tour, Manson
Injury Postpones Several Dates"), but before the Marilyn Manson/Hole tour
went into meltdown, Hole bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur captured some of the fun
for us. Armed with a small hand-held camera, Auf Der Maur roamed the backstage
during her band's brief stint with Manson documenting the proceedings for MTV
News.
She caught it all: the pre-show rituals, the inter-band patter, the deli trays,
and you can see it too right here in RealVideo. If you'd rather see it on a
bigger screen, you can catch Melissa's handy work Wednesday night at 7 p.m. as
part of a special edition of "MTV News 1515" devoted to the ill-fated tour.
